Chef Alejandro Maldonado is an Ecuadorian culinary talent that carries the mantra "it is always the best day to cook", tattooed on his arm and his soul.
His journey in the culinary world began when he was a toddler; always attached to the love through hospitality in every aspect.
At a very young age - he started his formation into the Ecuadorian Air Force Education System.
Shaped into the military branch until he turned 17 years, allowed him to reach the title of Reserve Second Lieutenant.
Full of admiration of a very close figure all his life; his sister - he decided to enroll professionally in Universidad de las Américas as a Bachelor in Gastronomy.
During his time in Ecuador, he performed as the head of operations of each branch he onboarded, not only in restaurants, but also in the Ecuadorian Culinary Education System - ultimately being the Academic Coordinator of a Gastronomy and Hospitality Tech University.
The Chicago Gastronomic scene delivers the highest standards which made him settle in and work his way up in BOH and FOH to perform professionally for Michelin star figures.
